Junior Captain / Captain (Full-time & Part-time)

About the position: Responsibilities: - Assist the manager in carrying out his function by efficiently administering and organizing the outlet into a profitable center and maximizing center’s revenue. - Ensure that mis-en place/side station is all set up with food/beverage items, non-food items such as crockery and chinaware before the shift commences. - Replenish items as and when necessary. - Ensure that tables under his charge have the correct cutlery and table settings before the shift commences. - Take food and beverage orders and serve them. - Clear and remove soiled dishes, and bring them to the dish washing area. - Present bills to diners, collect payment and give to the cashier, return change or credit card to diners. - Reset tables after use. - Any other suitable tasks as and when assigned by the Bar Manager Requirements: - Good communications and interpersonal skills - Service-oriented - Familiar with bar operations would be an added advantage - Able to commit to shift work including split shift duties - Able to work on weekends and public holidays
