Flower farm worker (greenhouse work) - Urgent Hiring

Randbiz is a family owned business that has been producing commercial volumes of fresh cut flowers for over 20 years from our farm based at Cabarlah, QLD 4352.

We offer regular and consistent hours 7:30am – 4pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year (no split shifts, weekends or odd hours).

The position includes – Picking flowers from indoor and outdoor crops, pest identification & signing in line with IPM protocols, weeding, regular plant maintenance, crop planting and preparation, irrigation repairs, and assisting with crop pest and disease management.

Applicants that have experience or are capable of crop spraying, greenhouse and general farm maintenance tasks (which may include working at height when replacing greenhouse plastic) would be at an advantage.

Previous farm work experience would be beneficial and experience with farm machinery is not needed but would be a plus.

• Able to work at a fast pace
• Reliable and have a good work ethic
• Ability to work both outdoors and in greenhouse conditions.
• Able to work alone at times but mostly in a team 
• Attention to detail 
• Be self-motivated, honest, respectful and hard-working
• Have your own transport

Due to the nature of the business, some leave blackout periods are in place, and from time to time, extended work hours are necessary.
