Job Description - Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Humana is seeking a reliable and independent Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from home in Adelaide, South Australia, AU. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. 3. Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions. 4. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. 5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. 6. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management. 7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes are efficient and effective. 8. Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field. 3. CPA certification preferred. 4. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 5. Creativity in problem-solving and identifying opportunities for improvement. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 8. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
