Job Description - Chat Support Manager - Work from home

Job Description: Sonic Healthcare is seeking a Chat Support Manager to work remotely from home in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. As a Mid-to-Senior Level position requiring at least 7 years of experience, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of chat support agents to provide exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.


Responsibilities: - Manage a team of chat support agents, including scheduling, training, and performance management - Monitor chat interactions to ensure quality and consistency of service - Develop and implement chat support strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction - Collaborate with other departments to address technical issues and escalate complex cases - Analyze chat support metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement - Stay current on industry trends and best practices in chat support management - Handle escalated customer inquiries and provide resolutions in a timely and professional manner


Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in customer service, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role - Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets and KPIs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Experience with chat support platforms and CRM systems - Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other customer service software - Hardworking and energetic personality traits - Strong research skills to stay informed on industry trends - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
