Wood is currently looking for a 1 year contract (renewable) an Electrical Engineer to support operation of Belgian Branch Office in Antwerp for projects in petroleum and chemical sectors.

• Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer

• Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, codes and standards

• Prepare/develop single line diagrams and functional diagrams

• Carry out electrical system studies

• Prepare electrical job specifications and data-sheets

• Prepare material requisitions for electrical equipment and perform technical bid evaluations as per relevant practices

• Review suppliers' drawings and documentation as per relevant practices

• Perform power cable sizing calculations

• Ensure timely production of deliverables

 

• 2 / 3 years of experience in similar role

• Graduated in Electrical Engineering

• Dutch and English speaking

• Knowledge of European Electrical Norms and IEC

• Knowledge of Belgian Electrical Regulations (AREI)

• Available to work also as a field engineer
• Eligible to work in UE
