In this role, well be looking for you to support daily WU Stores operations in Belgium, striving to deliver operational excellence for superior customer service, reach business objectives, driving volume growth and service expansion.
Role Responsibilities
Oversee and secure WU Stores operations in Belgium (13 stores in various locations).
Secure day-to-day operations, systems and respect local and global operating procedures.
Coordinate system technical incidents with network and WU back-office support to provide solutions on escalated issues.
Responsible for alerting on potential disruption and managing incidents in the most efficient way.
Identify opportunities for new products and services support product and service introduction.
Responsible for implementing high service standards for smooth and efficient customer service.
Coordinate Front-Line Associates / Cashier's training delivery.
Monitor daily operations and activity (per product and per store).
Responsible for formalizing and implementing operating procedures to reinforce framework and team efficiency.
Regular control and on-site visits (cash counting, opening hours, staff presence).
Manage operational relationships with local vendors control vendor's service delivery and standards
Management of facility maintenance and upgrade.
Role Requirements
Experience in a similar role or an Operations function, ideally within the retail banking or money transfer sector.
Knowledge of the financial services market or retail and digital operations.
Ability to lead, coach and guide a team to success.
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate with other teams in a global, fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English and French is required a good level in the Dutch language is a plus.
Valid drivers license this role requires approx. 50% travel in Belgium.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
