Reporting to the Vice President, Academic & Principal or the P rovost & Executive Vice President , the Dean of Education , is responsible for shaping the educational landscape by providing strategic and operational leadership . The DoE is accountable for curriculum innovation, Faculty development, student success and community engagement fostered by strategic leadership and operational oversight . The Dean of Education is also responsible for a working environment in which all faculty and staff can grow and thrive in support of the University’s mission and students’ academic success and wellbeing .  

• Develop and implement campus-level strategies to support student success and university strategic goals.  
• Lead and manage the faculty and staff (academic and operations).
• Provide leadership with respect to campus strategies and objectives for central University and corporate staff partners/representatives who serve the campus and its students.  
• B uild partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, to en sure high-quality programs and operations.
• Support the d evelop ment of high-performing academic faculty and staff, superior academic programs, stu dent services, and in novative teaching and learning strategies that enhance students’ academic success and wellbeing .  
• Collaborat e with cross-functional colleagues on student recruitment , student services and promotional initiatives for the campus/region .  
• Model and p romot e a positive culture that supports equity, inclusion, learning , and wellne s s for all faculty, staff, and students.  
• Lead multiple direct and indirect reports (directors, managers, and professionals) on campus and in the region .  
• Maintain visibility and collegial relationships with regulators and other postsecondary institutions in the region.  
• Convey knowledge and experience   in teaching and learning strategies, course and program development, communication strategies, and student services,  including but not limited  to   current  legislation and  compliance requirements.

• PhD in education or an EdD 
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience at a post-secondary level
• Experienced in people leadership
• Professionally ranked or eligible for consideration at current institution 
• Experience supervising graduate students at MEd and doctoral levels
• Knowledge of working and teaching in a virtual environment 
• Strong and active record of research and publications
• Scholar of repute within the international academic community
