Chemical Engineering student opportunities.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Thunder Bay Operations team starting in May for at least four months and up to eight month student placement terms.

Your primary Responsibilities will include the following:

• You will work in various departments assisting engineers and both operations and maintenance departments in analysis and project work.

Requirements:

• Candidates must currently enrolled in a Chemical Engineering program at a Canadian university able to start this paid position in May of 2023 for at least a four month term.
• Candidates must be eligible to legally work in Canada at the time of applying for the position.
• Candidates must have completed at least their first year of the program at the time of the placement.
• Candidates must be willing to work at the site in Thunder Bay.
• Selected students will work Monday to Friday forty (35) hours per week at an hourly rate of at least $22.55.

Your skills and assets:

• Strong interpersonal skills required, including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment,
• Strong communication skills,
• Demonstrated ability to balance priorities along with strong organizational methods,
• Proficient analytical skills required as well as a strong background in MS Office,
• The ideal candidate will possess the drive and passion to continuously improve upon the health and safety, efficiency, production and cost targets for the department.
