QUALIFICATIONS:



Fully licensed industrial mechanic. Consideration may be given to a recent graduate from a 40 week community college industrial mechanic program.
Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to accept and embrace change in a fast-paced environment
Strong working knowledge of PC's and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to successfully work individually or collaboratively with others
Must work with a sense of urgency
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset
Successful completion of a 90 day training period


Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:


Responsible for mechanical breakdown and proactive repairs of all equipment in the Florenceville Prepared Foods Facility
Observe equipment and component conditions while doing jobs, and provide feedback as appropriate
Provide all information requested on feedback forms as part of completing jobs
Effectively use SAP system for work orders
Work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with production and maintenance colleagues
Maintain an excellent attendance record
Perform all other duties as they arise


Applicants must possess a good safety record and continually demonstrate "safety first." Selection of employees for promotion is based upon such factors as ability, special training, experience, prior PEP Ratings, attendance, ability to meet the physical demands of the position, education, length of service, and involvement in additional assignments. Length of service will be the determining factor when all other factors are relatively equal. Testing may be required depending on the position applied for. Interviews will held as necessary and those selected for interview are determined based on meeting the criteria as noted above. An evaluation period will be used to determine the candidate's suitability to the position. Shifts are subject to change and are not guaranteed due to scheduling demands.
