Job Description - Accounting Clerk

Job summary
Accounting Clerk position One-year contract basis Provide hands-on support to accounts payable department
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Printing invoices • Collecting and sorting emails • Following up on outstanding payments and invoices • Payroll entry and processing support • Other support tasks as required
Requirements
• Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting; or equivalent combination of experience, skills & education • Previous experience in a similar accounting support role is an asset • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles • Strong computer/technical skills with the ability to learn systems and processes quickly • Reliable and dependable work ethic • High level of flexibility when working with others and superior interpersonal and relationships building skills
