Prairie Sky Co-op is hiring a Marketing & Community Engagement Manager? at our Administration Office in Weyburn, SK.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will provide leadership and expertise while implementing programs and initiatives to the marketing, community engagement, and sustainability functions for Prairie Sky Co-op.

The position requires effectively working in the following areas:

Marketing (local market research, brand/product management, promotions, traditional and digital marketing, etc.)
Community Engagement (partnerships with charitable organizations, organize and host co-op events, and other community engagement activities)
Sustainability (Creation and execution of the sustainability strategy, tracking of sustainability metrics, and leading employee volunteerism programs)
Performance Management (Prepare and carry out a personal development plan focusing on competencies required for the position)

WHO YOU ARE:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in business, commerce, or marketing;
You have 3+ years of relevant progressively responsible marketing experience, with prior leadership experience;
You are an expert in working with a variety of software including graphic design, web page, Adobe Photoshop, Print Shop, Adobe Illustrator, and other similar platforms;
You have experience with search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and other web-focused initiatives;
You are familiar with Facebook, Instagram, and other social media and being able to work with and navigate through them;
You are familiar with decision-making processes, problem-solving methods, and willing to provide outstanding customer service;
Communication is key on this role. You are an excellent resource for communication with the local community;
You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
