The Marketing Manager will execute the overall strategic vision and day to day marketing operations of the company’s brands and product portfolio in support of the company’s growth. Reporting to the Director of Product Development and overseeing the Brand Marketing division, this includes development and execution of B2C and B2B marketing programs and activities to grow brand loyalty and equity, as well as coaching and developing a high-performance team. What You Will Do
- Working closely with the Director of Product Development, Art Director and other cross-functional managers, assess, develop and execute marketing strategies to establish increased brand penetration, brand equity and brand loyalty.
- Coach and develop the existing brand marketing team members, while assessing and hiring where necessary to build the department and achieve brand initiatives
- Develop, oversee and analyze market intelligence frameworks focused on capturing consumer and customer data/feedback for existing and new products
- Manage and plan the execution of both B2C and B2B marketing activities that support brand launches and marketing plans. Includes outbound marketing campaigns, digital marketing, and sales promotions.
- Develop marketing strategies and communications (digital, experiential, PR, merchandising) that are compliant under regulation governance and executed with excellence.
- Drive, manage and improve digital marketing strategies and platforms such as consumer-facing brand websites, social media, and monitor performance of these platforms
- Develop and host presentations for new brands and products to internal cross-functional teams such as Sales, Trade Marketing and Customer Service.
- Plan and oversee execution on shelf planning and merchandising solutions including POSM across brands.
- Coordinate product launches from our Brands to Trade Marketing (Distribution) departments
- Coordinate with Customer Marketing Manager to design customized promotions and/or marketing activities for key customers.
- Coordinate with the Digital Team Lead on digital marketing requests for graphics and website
- Build strong relationships with emphasis on internal stakeholders, positively challenging the status quo to find innovate ways to differentiate and add distinct value.
What You Will Need
- University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Marketing or Business related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience in either brand, trade, or operational marketing within a CPG field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience managing and coaching team members
- Must be detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work under time pressures
- Strong decision making, analytical, negotiating, accountability and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written fluency in English required; French is an asset
- Experienced in motivational leadership, planning, organization and conflict resolution
- Excellent proficiency in Office 365; intermediate or better in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or similar analytical software an asset
- The desire to continually learn and personal development
- Experience working within a regulated industry an asset
- Willingness to use our products for deeper understanding is a strong asset
