We are looking for a project manager engineer who has the skills and expertise to oversee the entire project from design to commissioning. This person should have experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in the energy and petroleum industry, and have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.The person should be able to lead and direct the project team to ensure that correct procedures, best practices, and E&P standards are always implemented to ensure suitable and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to guide project team leads and engineers in their personal development to achieve high competency levels, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders involved in the project.
• University degree in Engineering, desirable if the incumbent has post-graduation in Engineering, Construction Management or related fields.
• 12 years of experience in the petrochemicals or in an industrial environment
• 8 years of project management experience
• 5 years of experience in mega project environment
• Deep knowledge of various kinds of project disciplines and expertise in project management.
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills

• Assure that Project Management team implements the highest Safety standards to all aspects of the project through HSE progressive updates implementing safety components and comments from all stages of the project.
• Assure that Construction Management implements the highest Safety standards into the Site specific program to create a safe workplace – all accidents are avoidable.
Strategic Contribution:
• As a member of the IYP E&P team, develop and refine the strategy for project engineering, assurance, and contributes to the overall process of
management and corporate decision making to ensure IYP E&P maximizes its profitability and returns to its shareholders by providing inputs and
recommending changes in the overall IYP E&P strategy.
Project Value Improvement Practices:
• Guide an improvement of the Project Management team (leads and engineers) in order to provide world class project management within and outside of the organization.
• Ensure that a plan is developed which addresses the challenges and issues of the first in kind project as the biggest complex designed and built in a single phase ever on the globe.
• Ensure that a plan is developed which addresses the complexity, challenges,criticality and issues of the first in kind project as the biggest & very unique complex designed and built in a single phase ever on the globe.
• Assure that risk identification and measurement of project risk is an integral part of the project execution planning effort.
• Establish an effective communication with our client counterparts to ensure smooth development of the project.
• Ensure that Design and Constructability reviews are performed to integrate design and construction considerations assuring a technically complete and constructible design. Assure complete participation and alignment of all project participants involved.
• Ensure that Project Management team in coordination with manufacturing team implement all aspects of the value improvement process results from
technical and value assurance review such as TQM, VAR, Risk Management, and Value Engineering.
Project Execution:
• Ensure that a plan is developed which addresses the challenges and issues of the project.
• Assure that risk identification and measurement of project risk is an integral part of the project execution planning effort.
• Ensure that Project Execution plan is developed addressing proactive control of project scope, quality, cost and schedule, report on progress, identify deviations, forecast trends, take corrective actions when necessary, promote communications, and coordinate the activities of all participants on the project.
• Establish project planning to support the project goals.
• Manage the formal and systematic development of scope, schedule, responsibility, quality and cost on task-by-task basis to allocate responsibility and focus on project goals.
• Represent our client infront of third parties in kingdom and outside kingdom
• Organize a review if use of existing equipment specifications, design criteria, P&ID’s, and other work product previously developed for similar plans of this size can be quickly adapted to provide an early advantage in meeting the project’s technical, cost and schedule goals.
• Establish and maintain open and continuous lines of communication between project management, owner, contractors, and other project participants.
• Involve project management, owner, contractors, and other project personnel in both planning and decision making. Provide continuous involvement of the key management personnel to provide the oversight, commitment, experience and attention to the project.
• Evaluate and monitor performance of the project:
a) Benchmark project performance against project objectives
b) Share results and lessons learned
Contract Administration:
• Assure compliance with all technical procedures & standards as applicable to the contract.
• Ensure implementing of Change management, which is an effective establishment of protocols, records, analysis, approval/rejection, implementation, and
control of changes.

2. Interviews stage
2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.
If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.
If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.
2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.
If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location.
The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.
If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer.
If your face-to-face interview is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you.
2.3 There could be additional video interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.
3. Conditional Offer
A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
