Job Description - Account Coordinator- Inside Sales

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Account Coordinator plays a key role in supporting MTC Solutions’ mission to advance the growth of the North American mass timber industry through high-performance connection hardware and engineering expertise.
This position is responsible for supporting sales opportunities with MTC Solutions’ key partners, managing client relationships, and keeping account activities organized and on track. Acting as a link between clients and internal teams — including pre-construction, operations, and logistics — the Account Coordinator helps coordinate communication, monitor project progress, schedule deliverables, and ensure client needs are handled efficiently and professionally.
This role is ideal for someone who is both detail-oriented and people-oriented, eager to take initiative, and motivated to support sales execution in a fast-paced environment



Primary Responsibilities

•    Manage inbound customer communication, including phone calls, emails, and sales inquiries, ensuring timely, professional, and solutions-focused service.
•    Prepare customer quotations and coordinate internally to confirm pricing, product details, lead times, and order requirements.
•    Enter and process customer orders through MTC’s ERP and CRM systems (SAP B1 and HubSpot), maintaining accuracy throughout the sales and fulfillment process.
•    Process customer payments, including credit card transactions, in accordance with internal procedures and financial controls.
•    Maintain accurate and well-organized customer records, sales activity, and order information across internal systems and databases.
•    Track ongoing and upcoming projects through MTC’s CRM (HubSpot), maintaining an accurate and up-to-date project database.
•    Identify opportunities to improve administrative workflows, strengthen process efficiency, and support continuous improvement across account coordination functions.



Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support customer needs and ensure a high level of service throughout the order cycle:



•    Accounts Team: Align pricing, sales strategy, and meeting coordination with purchasing decision-makers.
•    Operations: Confirm product availability, lead times, and pricing accuracy to support project bids and order execution.
•    Business Development: Identify educational and relationship-building opportunities with engineers and specifiers.
•    Technical Service: Communicate customer technical requests and project requirements internally to support timely follow-up and solutions.

Required Qualifications

•    Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently.
•    Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn within a technical or product-driven industry.
•    A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through on responsibilities.
•    Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting and contribute positively to shared goals.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
•    Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data, order details, and customer information.
•    Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related account support role.

Compensation Package

•    Annual salary of $55,000–$65,000, based on experience and qualifications.
•    Extended health benefits.

•    Three weeks of vacation to start and up to four weeks overtime, plus additional paid days off
