TD Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) covers a specialized area dedicated to high-quality application and solution delivery. Similar to industry trends, TD's definition of this area of discipline (as well as skill and knowledge requirements) has changed over time. One thing hasn't changed – experts in this area remain highly-marketable across businesses.



Some of our testing activities may focus on system integration, business acceptance, performance, operability and deployment verification. Quality Assurance activities, in contrast, give stakeholders information about product or service quality while allowing the business to appreciate and understand any implementation risks. Many Testing & QA Experts could be involved in end-to-end delivery of testing, or more focused on a specific discipline.

Job Description



About This Role



We need someone to manage a team of testing and QA professionals in providing a broad range of test services and solutions, ensuring standards are met and objectives are achieved.

Manage large QA teams supporting multiple technologies and platforms across digital, middle tier, legacy and data warehousing solutions

Ensure planning for the responsible portfolio including budget (actual/ forecast), skill sets, resourcing (hiring/ allocations/ re-alignments), and location

Work with technology stakeholders to understand requirements, attend workshops, identify resourcing requirements, provide initial estimates and define the operating/ governance model

Build Trust and partnership among the team, peer group and effectively drive synergies across departments to ensure optimal utilizations and best use of talent.

Drive QA to QE transformation for the responsible team including planning, trainings, hands on assignments and project executions. Manage resource planning, forecasting, reviewing project assignments, utilizations. Ensure resources are ready and trained as per delivery pipeline

Work with QMO and internal groups to provide metrics/ KPI, implement organization best practices, participate in recruitment events and build strong partnership with vendors.

Implement QE Best practices at every opportunity and ensure accurate status tracking/ reporting

Ensure stakeholder alignment and management across the programs and departments through timely and accurate status reporting.Be able to project the value of QA, automation, non-functional at multiple levels including project management, executives through timely and accurate metrics



Job Requirements

Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.

Graduate Degree preferred.

7+ years relevant experience.

Strong Test Leadership and Management Skills – Create program level strategies, test metrics and

Strong process and quality background – Test metrics, knowledge management, people management, dashboards/ reporting

Experience in handling and collating information/ metrics/ data from multiple sources and aggregating them into a consolidated view based on stakeholder requirements

Strong Agile background – well versed with POD based models, scrum methodology and Shift Left methodology

Strong Technical background across automation, virtualization, test data management and non functional testing

Strong UI/ API automation knowledge –supporting multiple technologies (legacy and digital)

Knowledge and working experience on Automation frameworks.

Good knowledge of service virtualization and implementation experience

Good knowledge of test data management and implementation experience

Strong communication and analytical skills

Tools - Cucumber, Jenkins, GIT, Selenium, Parasoft, Bitbucket, CA TDM, CA Dev Test



Good to have

Previous Banking experience or TD experience

Understanding of CRM tools like Salesforce, underwriting solutions and servicing platforms

Ability to work in a behavior driven development model (BDD)

Experience in leading Tier 1, 2 programs with multiple teams and across BU/ LOB/ Departments
