Status: Temporary Part Time
Hours: Monday - Friday 1000 - 1400hr (no shift on PA Days, Stat Holidays, Winter &
March Break)
Pay Rate:  $18.50/hr
Posting Date:  January 14, 2025
Closing Date:  January 21, 2025
Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement - calculation after 88 hours bi-weekly


Working on assigned shifts, you will work full time shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time. 
 

Job Duties:

Responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of property, persons and information

Tasked with patrolling property on foot

Effective communication

Monitor CCTV system

Respond to calls for service in a timely and urgent manner (may be required to run)

Attention to detail

Report writing, deploying and collecting equipment such as Radio's and Keys

Manage high stress and complex decision making

Knowledge and enforcement of Trespass to Property Act (TPA)

Enforce mall Code of Conduct in compliance with TPA 

Certification Requirements (Any)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
