(Junior) IT Operations & Process Automation Engineer

Wandelbots is on a mission to make robotics accessible to everyone with our innovative, user-friendly software platform. Join our IT team and be at the forefront of managing and supporting Wandelbots’ internal IT landscape. As a (Junior) IT Operations & Process Automation Engineer, you will help shape the foundation of our growing startup by overseeing IT infrastructure and driving seamless operational processes. In this role you will: 

• Empower Productivity: Manage and optimize IT systems and support Wandelbots employees, helping them work effectively and efficiently

• Drive Automation: Learn, design, and implement SaaS-based automations that streamline processes and improve workflow within and across teams

• Deliver Exceptional Service: Engage in our IT-Service Desk to provide a high-quality, customer-first IT experience for Wandelbots employees

• Explore Cloud Tools: Dive into a variety of cloud-based platforms and tools, finding creative ways to integrate them and enhance their functionality

• Early IT Operations Experience: Some experience in IT Operations or Support, ideally in a SaaS-driven environment (familiarity with tools like Atlassian, Microsoft Azure, Slack, Salesforce, etc.)

• Automation Awareness: Understanding of services like Zapier, Make, or Power Automate, with a keen interest in expanding this knowledge

• Process-Oriented: Curious about business processes and excited to find solutions that enhance and automate workflows

• Mindset: You’re a proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude, excited to turn theory into practice and deliver results

• Communication Skills: very good in both written and spoken English and German, with strong documentation abilities

• Commitment: Ready to work 2-3 days a week from our Dresden office

You are awesome if (nice-to-have)

• Technical Knowledge: Scripting/coding experience (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript) and understanding of IT infrastructure

• DevOps Curiosity: Interest in DevOps methodologies within Azure or similar environments
