Arbeitsbeschreibung - Sales Leader - DACH - Applied Genomics & Life Sciences

As the Sales Leader for DACH, you'll be instrumental in advancing growth and expanding our presence in this region, drawing upon your expertise in Applied Genomics and Life Sciences. Utilizing your proficiency in biotechnology and business development, you'll drive strategic efforts to nurture new business prospects and cultivate robust partnerships with industry stakeholders in life sciences. Additionally, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve our objectives.

Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the company strategic direction, actively engaging in ideation for value positioning
    • Drive the sales organization to deliver innovative sales solutions, emphasizing the value derived from breakthrough offerings
    • Focus on increasing market share in line with business objectives and identified end-markets
    • Lead by example, focusing on professional development and the achievement of corporate goals
    • Communicate sales targets and metrics, offering continuous feedback on sales performance
    • Drive people development aligned with organizational design and business objectives, emphasizing excellence and a proactive attitude
    • Ensure accurate forecasting reports using SalesForce.com, and oversee timely updates of customer information and pipeline evolution
    • Generate monthly business review reports
    • Life Science / NGS market / Liquid handling experience required
    • Leadership experience is essential - creating and leading a high performing team
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with Master/PhD degree a plus
    • Strong global, multi-cultural leadership fostering collaboration and teamwork
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
    • Prepare and manage realistic growth AOP/budget, possess commercial acumen, and adaptability to changing conditions
