Tasks

Role Overview:

Our harvesting robot “Berry” operates autonomously in greenhouses and is connected to the internet. With your help the customer can manage a fleet of robots from a web interface and can display data collected by many robots. You will develop in the frontend and backend to realize the data management and the interface to a large scale of robots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapid prototyping of your designs and ideas in the cloud on real robots

Depending on your skills and interests:

• Development and deployment of a web interface for our customers to display data collected by various robots
• Establish processes, databases and respective software for large-scale data management of data collected by many robots in the field
• Establish infrastructure to host the necessary services
• Development and testing of machine learning algorithms for data analysis and prediction (e.g. plant yield forecasting or disease detection)

Requirements

• Completed academic degree with specialization in computer science, data science or comparable course of study
• Hands-on experience with web development, databases and server infrastructure
• Profound skills with web frameworks (e.g. react.js), Python, Docker, Kubernetes, databases (e.g. MySQL), Linux (Ubuntu 22), Git
• A passion for the development of innovative solutions and creative ideas to improve our robots
• Team spirit and entrepreneurial thinking
• Fluency in English required, fluency in German is a big plus
• Driver's license class B

• Skills with ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Skills with Pytorch
