About the job

We’re looking for a Working Student in Compliance, with a focus on contract management and vendor screening in the context of DORA, to join our Legal Team and contribute to one of the most successful insurtech startups in Germany, offering our services across Europe and Japan.  At simplesurance, innovation and technology go hand in hand, working in synergy to drive our company forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Legal Team on compliance topics, particularly in vendor screening


• Assist in implementing DORA requirements, including structuring and compiling contracts, as well as identifying and documenting risks


• Review internal policies and standards related to international business


• Familiarize with current developments in international business law and financial supervision and application to specific business issues

Bring to the team

• Currently enrolled in studies in law, business law, economics or a comparable field


• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently


• Curiosity and openness to working in a dynamic, global environment with international teams


• Excellent English language skills, German is a plus


• Previous experience in a similar position or as a working student is preferred but not required
