Research and Development Scientist (Pharmacokinetics)

Job Summary

We are seeking a scientist with experience in cell-based pharmacokinetics and peptide therapeutics to join our research & development team in Patras or Athens (Position reference code: RB_pharm_001 (for Patras location) and RB_pharm_002 (for Athens location)). The successful candidate will be skilled in the design development, execution, and analysis of pharmacokinetic studies for peptide therapeutics, with proven track record of precise hands-on lab work and the ability to think creatively and critically.

Responsibilities

• Setup, execute and analyse in vitro ADME-tox studies including but not limited to in vitro stability, metabolism, permeability, protein binding;
• Setup, execute and analyse in vivo ADME-tox studies including but not limited to in vitro metabolism, biodistribution,toxicology;
• Advise on/validating PK strategies;
• Clearly and concisely present hypotheses, experimental design, and results at interdisciplinary team meetings;
• Contribute to writing scientific communications including publications.

Qualifications

• PhD or relevant post-doctoral training in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology or Biological Sciences with 5+ years of work experience in a similar role;
• Strong technical expertise, including practical experience and proven hands-on skills with in vitro PK studies
• Prior experience with peptide therapeutics
• Publication list that shows the extent of your writing and scientific abilities;
• Outstanding communication (written, oral and presentation in Greek and English) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines
• Ability to promptly and efficiently react to project adjustments and changes
• Ability to work autonomously but also as part of an interdisciplinary team.
