Responsibilities:
- Manage the Banks’ IT Security and Governance department, functional areas in included technology risk monitoring, information security, and IT governance
- Information security with primary focus on detection, protection, monitoring and response. Manages security operation, establishes the control, and oversees the implementation
- Report to senior management for assessment of IT security and governance risks and any recommendations
- Provide support to the Head of IT in implementing the Bank’s overall IT security strategy; roadmap and business plan
- Address to requests and comments from both internal and external audits, examination and reviews and ensure timely implementation of any agreed actions
Requirements: - University degree in Information Technology, Accounting or other business-related disciplines
- Working experience in banking industry is preferred
- At least 15 years IT management experience. Extensive knowledge should cover in the areas of information security; IT quality assurance; project management; data center operations, IT regulatory compliance and operational risk management
- With experience in managing information security; IT quality assurance; project management office; data center management and IT compliance functions
- Experience in process improvement; compliance review; BCP / disaster recovery; and writing IT policies, standards and guidelines
- In-depth understanding of HKMA’s IT regulatory requirements, its technical and compliance requirements and industry standards
- Regular meet with ITD teams, key business units, internal and external auditors, and liaise with regulators
- Maintain contact with solution providers, vendors, consultants and industry working groups
