About Position 

Backend Systems Engineer (3+ years experience)

Description

• We are looking for a Backend Systems Engineer, to be part of the core team at Gloroots and lead the backend infrastructure on cloud.

• As part of the core team, work closely with the Founders, Tech and Product team to connect business problems to technical problems and launch products globally.

• Our products and services will span across geographies, and a truly global framework will have to be built and deployed. Hence, previous knowledge of building systems from scratch would be a plus. 

• We foresee the role to grow into a position of leadership within the company as we scale and expand the team.

• Technologies: Python (backend development), MongoDB, AWS. Knowledge of frontend development would be a plus. 

Responsibilities

• Building, Scaling & Maintaining API’s; Integration with third party API services

• Devops - Backend system management (AWS) 

• Scale Infrastructure across geographies

• Scale Tech team (Devops, QA, software development)

• Build QA,Testing & Analytics Framework
