Job Overview
To drive business growth and ensure market expansion of SeaSafe Marine Services through effective sales strategies, client relationship management, and promotion of LSA, FFE & Technical Services, maintenance, and inspection solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations, company policies & procedures through the following
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, fleet managers, and key decision-makers in the maritime industry to promote SeaSafe Marine Services
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prepare and present technical and commercial proposals for LSA, FFE & Technical Services, maintenance, servicing, and certification contracts
Work closely with the Service Team to understand client requirements and ensure accurate quotation preparation for service contracts and renewals
Collaborate with Technical Managers to provide comprehensive solutions that meet clients' technical requirements and regulatory compliance needs
Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activities, and provide strategic insights to help expand market share in the lifeboat service sector
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and market developments
Represent SeaSafe at maritime industry events, exhibitions, and technical seminars to promote the company's services and capabilities
Work with the Operations team to ensure smooth handover of new contracts and maintain client satisfaction throughout the service delivery process
Support the development of marketing materials and technical presentations for client meetings and industry events
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and marine safety regulations
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a form of mechanical engineering or similar related field. In the case of lower formal qualification this can be substituted by demonstration of sufficient relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in marine services, preferably in LSA, FFE and Technical Services or related marine safety equipment
Proven track record in B2B sales and key account management
Experience in maritime industry technical sales
