Mid Data Analyst

About The Role

You will be part of the data team, and you will primarily be supporting the finance and StraitsX teams with their data requirements by leading a small-medium data related project, creating dashboards, reports. You will need to query large data and use various statistical techniques to interpret the results.

What You Will Do 

• Extract and analyze financial and transactional records to provide data for financial and product reporting.


• Create interactive dashboards to deliver comprehensive insights into various product metrics.


• Lead data-focused projects and initiatives.


• Support the data audit process for both product and finance.


• Develop reports in collaboration with finance and compliance teams for financial reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory purposes.


• Investigate transaction anomalies in collaboration with finance, product, operations, and engineering teams.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.


• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst.


• Proficiency in SQL.


• Solid understanding of basic statistics.


• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.


• Experience with data platforms such as BigQuery, Tableau, Metabase, or similar.


• Proficiency in R or Python is advantageous.


• Experience with financial data management is a plus.


• Experience in the cryptocurrency or payment industry is highly desirable.


• Familiarity with data warehousing and data engineering is an added advantage.
