Job Title: Staff Grade Medical Scientist Location: HSE University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: : €41,972 - €70,099 DOE Relocation Package: Includes flights and accommodation TTM Healthcare is currently working with one of Ireland's Leading HSE University Hospitals in Dublin. As part of our continuous growth and dedication to providing top-tier medical services, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Grade Medical Scientist to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Staff Grade Medical Scientist to join our dynamic laboratory team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic services across key areas including Biochemistry, Microbiology, Haematology, and Histopathology. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data to support clinical diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Adhere to quality control protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Registration with the Medical Scientists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a focus on Biochemistry, Microbiology, Haematology, or Histopathology.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in medical science.
Desirable:
  • Experience in a teaching hospital or research environment.
  • Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software.
