We are seeking an enthusiastic Reservations Agent for our Central Reservations Department for Gleneagle Hotel Group on the fix-term contract, until September.

This role will be suitable for candidates seeking valuable experience and improving their skills.

You will work as part of a dedicated team taking reservations calls for the Gleneagle Hotel, Gleneagle River Apartments and The Maritime Hotel.

 

  Responsibilities and Duties

• Handling, and upselling on reservations calls
• Dealing with guest queries about their stay
• Processing ticket sales for concerts and events in the INEC and other venues
• Providing exceptional guest service to all customers
• Ensuring very high level of customer care and service experience.

  Qualifications / Skills

• Previous experience in hotel reservations with knowledge of reservation systems is essential, with experience in a Call Centre / reservations centre preferred.
• Superb communication skills, attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service.
• A flexible approach to work, have the ability to work well under pressure and be highly motivated.

The standard shift hours include:

Candidates should be aware that hours will vary each week with evening and weekend work between the hours of Monday to Friday: 9am – 8pm and Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 6pm
