Shift leader
• Lead the team and assign tasks as needed to ensure maximum uptime and resource utilisation.
• Coach and mentor the shift team to help them develop their skills and improve their performance, as well as use available tools to help with people management.
• Integrate quality into all aspects of work by adhering to all quality requirements and process specifications, including GDP.
• Proactively lead, manage, and train team members to achieve the best results possible.
• Manage performance, support, and motivate team members to achieve operational and quality KPIs.
• Lead the team to maintain efficiency with the objective of achieving daily/weekly/monthly/yearly production OEE and FTP rate targets.
• Manage team attendance in collaboration with the supervisor and Human Resources.
• Establish and maintain an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork.
• Participate in/host daily production meetings with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with other teams and departments.
• Ensure that all applicable regulatory requirements are met. Policies, procedures, and guidelines for GMP, safety, and the environment.
• Maintain health and safety performance at a total case incident rate of zero.
• Report any H&S concerns or noncompliance to your direct line manager immediately and within the available H&S Software
• Assist in the implementation and adherence on Human Resources systems, policies, procedures, and practices.
• Actively participate and engage in all site and corporate initiatives and encourage team members to do so.
• Ensure that all agreed-upon customer requirements are met.
• Reporting equipment problems and following up to ensure a quick resolution
• Any other duties that may be assigned.
