Reporting to the Site Manager as the Warehouse Manager you will play a pivotal role in the business, overseeing all dispatch and warehouse operations with Safety of employees and efficiency of the operation being a priority.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with planners and transport to ensure loading plans are executed.
- Ensure that quality of product dispatch remains to customer standards, raise any issues with Technical manager
- Monitor stock levels and address any discrepancies with site planners
- Manage team re training, H&S standards, holiday cover and perfast.
- Implement and enforce all group H&S and HR policies and procedures
- Liaise with site department heads to achieve high customer audits, 5S and daily site standards on continuous basis
- Govern and participate in site routines where required, eg. Planning, pulse
Dispatch
- Support key customer order systems to meet customer requirement
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products
- Responsible for all aspects of stock movement
Stock Management
- Management of all off- site / maturing stocks
- Responsible for all aspects of stock movement
- Receiving / storage / Issuing to Customer (Manufacturing units)
- Various CI projects as assigned.
People Management
- Manage teams to maximise efficiency and meet required deadlines

- Proven track record in logistics, warehouse management, or similar roles
- Confident, decisive and ability to problem solve
- Ability to demonstrate effective leadership and people management techniques.

- Good planning & organisational skills.
- Experience in a FMCG environment would be an advantage.
