Our client is a major multinational company, leader in the Industrial Mechanics sector. In order to strengthen the production structure, we have been tasked with selecting the following professional figure:

Department Manager - Mechanical Machining

Tasks:

• Manage the production processes concerning the activities of: Production Planning, Assembly, Testing, Mechanical Machining
• Ensure the achievement of company objectives, indicators assigned to the area of expertise, as well as the maintenance of company quality standards
• Support improvement processes by promoting innovation and optimization paths of production processes
• Coordinate the management of assigned resources.
• Support the Operations Management in choosing paths to improve company performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety levels and related standards and supervise the progress of the production process within the relevant department.
• Monitor the progress of costs and production times in compliance with the budget and company objectives.
• Constantly coordinate with the Planning and Logistics areas, anticipating potential constraints on the production process

Skills:

• Technical degree, preferably mechanical, or Technical Diploma
• Many years of experience in the role, gained in complex production contexts
• Solid and in-depth skills in the field of Mechanical Machining for cast iron/aluminium
• Strong management and organizational skills
• Leadership
• Ability to plan and coordinate production departments
• Written and spoken knowledge of the English language
• Ability to relate to internal and external functions in a complex environment.
