At QIAGEN, you make a difference every day.Position DescriptionTo strengthen our team in Italy, we are looking for an InsideSales/Sales Rep to drive and grow sales for the QIAGEN portfolio withinselected focused Accounts in Italy.We are recruiting for a home office position, lookingfor candidates to be base in Italy. We are ONLY looking for candidates thatare under the Categoria Protetta.Key Responsibilities Include Budget achievement through identifying prospective buyers of thecompany’s products and services within defined customers in Italy. Thisactivity will require a high level of business development and theimplementation of strategic planning in defined accounts. Be able to clearly identify and interpret customer’s requirements,shape and align their requirements to QIAGEN’s capabilities and positionour solutions effectively. Build customer relationships by driving customer satisfaction andincreasing QIAGEN’s competitive advantage by building trust andrelationships. Effective weekly/monthly planning of phone calls/zoom meeting, plusfield activities (20% of the time) and provide accurate sales forecasts tosales manager via biweekly forecast calls and company Customer RelationshipManagement (CRM) system. Maintain and expand local market knowledge including technologytrends, commercial awareness of competitors, latest patient guidelines andtesting recommendations.Position Requirements Bachelor of Science, PhD or equivalent experience in MolecularBiology. 3+ years of sales experience as Inside Sales within the Academia/LifeScience market. Proven sales record that shows the ability to meet and exceed salestargets. Fluent in Italian and English. Knowledge of relevant local markets. Willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities andundertake challenging tasks and/or projects. Ability to work with several stakeholders in a structured andorganized fashion.
