A Wholesale Womenswear & Menswear Buyer at Celestino is responsible for discovering and purchasing new womenswear and menswear products, expanding the options of sourcing & new suppliers,  and maintaining strong relationships to secure competitive buying prices while upholding the highest quality and delivery standards. The candidate will work for our headquarters in Greece while being a permanent resident, based in Rome.

Responsibilities

• Continuously seek out new products that resonate with the target Celestino audience and align with the latest fashion trends given by the head office
• Evaluate supplier options based on criteria including pricing, quality, offer and reliability, to make informed sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate terms of agreements with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals for the company, optimizing costs while maintaining quality.
• Forge and maintain trust relationships with existing suppliers to promote fair dealing and source new suppliers for future products.
• Collaborate with the buying and sourcing team in Greece to effectively implement the purchasing strategy.

• Proficient in English and Italian language
• At least 2 years work experience as a Wholesale Buyer in the fashion retail industry.
• Exceptional negotiating, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel).
• Strong knowledge of seasonal fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Availability to occasionally travel
• Driving license
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or relevant field would be considered as a plus.
• Working knowledge of ERP software is an advantage.
