Manager - FinOps

Our Delta Technology team is looking for Manager - FinOps to help and support one of our clients a major player within the fund industry.

The Manager - FinOps will have the following responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement FinOps strategies to ensure cost-effective cloud operations across platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Analyze and manage cloud expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and operational teams to develop budget forecasts, optimize spending, and align costs with organizational goals.
• Create transparent reporting structures to provide visibility into cloud costs and performance metrics.
• Mentor teams on FinOps methodologies and promote a culture of cost-awareness and accountability.
• Leverage data-driven insights to address complex cloud cost challenges and develop innovative solutions.

The Manager - FinOps will also have the responsibility to participate to the Delta Digital Fund Industry club. As a consultant, the Manager - FinOps will support other colleagues in case of expertise needs.

• Possess over 10 years of experience in IT architecture, system design, or cloud technologies, with proven leadership in Finance, IT, or cloud computing.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Apply solid experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization strategies.
• Analyze complex problems and propose actionable, data-driven solutions.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Hold formal FinOps certification (highly advantageous).
• Showcase expertise in managing and optimizing cloud costs with a focus on driving business value.
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• English, French speaking are mandatory, other languages are considered as an advantage.
