Your future working environment : 

Sopra Steria PSF Luxembourg, with more than 160 employees, works on large-scale projects for major local clients in the telecoms, industry, banking and insurance sectors, as well as the public sector.

Sopra Steria PSF Luxembourg is currently looking for a Trainee Tester to strengthen our teams. You will be part of a Sopra Steria team, supervised by a Project Manager and a Sopra Steria tutor.

Mission:

As part of the testing of this new database, you will take part in the development of tests.

Working with the test engineers, from the test definition phases through to the execution stages, you will set up functional and non-functional tests.

The project will mainly focus on the following areas:

• Creating functional and non-functional test batteries
• Writing and checking the launch of query automation scripts and business scenario simulations
• Checking that business applications can use the new data
• Ensuring that the various user rights are correctly applied
• Check that business data is historically recorded

Profile:

• Good theoretical and practical knowledge of databases
• Knowledge of sql and no-sql languages
• Mastery of test level concepts: unit tests, system tests, user acceptance tests
• Knowledge of a tool for managing test cases (e.g. Xray) and anomalies (e.g. JIRA)
• Experience of the JMeter tool is required for this project, or at least knowledge of the JAVA language.
