Established private healthcare institution seeking Head of Procurement to drive strategic procurement

Our client is one of Malaysia's premier healthcare providers and they are now seeking a Head of Procurement to drive enhanced Strategic Sourcing activities as part of their aggressive growth plans.




Your new role


Collaborating with C-level stakeholders, you will own the department initiatives and enhancement opportunities. You are tasked with consolidating and improving upon the various frameworks for healthcare sourcing, across all categories. This includes expansion construction, e-procurement systems, master data vendor lists and setup of storage facilities. You will also leverage upon your network to identify and engage optimal suppliers.



What you'll need to succeed


Bachelor's degree with experience in Procurement or Supply Chain fields within Healthcare / Medical Devices
Min. 8-10 years' experience in a similar role, working in dynamic environments, flexibility to changes
First-hand knowledge of CAPEX Procurement, Tender Process, Contract and Project Management
Working knowledge in SAP or other e-procurement tools
Strong change management and communication skills
Excellent English, both written and spoken, is a must.
