Retail Pharmacist

Key Requirements



Be responsible for the sales and stocks for the Healthcare categories.

Healthcare categories include Health supplements, over the counter, Pharmacy only, Prescription, general nutrition.

Be responsible for the ordering of healthcare products both from DC and local suppliers.

Assist the Store Manager to supervise the sales assistant assigned to the healthcare category to ensure proper stock display, proper housekeeping of the gondolas and planogram is properly maintained in this category.

Be responsible to maintain OOS (out of stock) of healthcare products according to target set by management

Be responsible to monitor expiry dates of healthcare products and minimize write off or returns.

Be responsible to counsel patients in all products available in Guardian, other than carry out the professional duties as a pharmacist.

Be responsible to conduct training on healthcare products to all store staff and teach them alternative OTC to recommend for certain minor ailments in the absence of a pharmacist.

Participate in stock taking and be responsible for proper counting of healthcare products by staff

Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure enough promotion stocks for the health care categories.

Actively promote the link sales items for the pharmacist and retail executives at the back-cashier counter (if applicable).

Build Guardian store brand products whenever possible.

Work closely with all staff to achieve the mystery shopper result set by management.

Assisting in opening and closing of the store if there is a need.



Key Requirements



Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree, Pharmacy/Pharmacology

Required skill(s): management consultant, Leadership Abilities.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field

Preferably Managers specializing in Healthcare - Pharmacy or equivalent.
