Junior Planner - Accessories

We are looking for a driven, analytical individual to join our Planning team. As a member of the planning team, you will be be responsible for supporting the development of merchandise planning tools, mostly in excel, consolidation of category/brand plans and intake tracking. 

The individual must be analytical with excellent problem solving skills, able to manage large amounts of data and attentive to details. As the role is a central position working with many teams, the candidate most possess strong project management and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have an interest in e-commerce and fashion retail.

Responsibilities:
Monitor, report and interpret sales, margin and stock performance for all product groups and countries
Provide recommendations of actions to maximize sales and margin opportunities while limiting stock risk, demonstrating a deep understanding of key drivers such as sell-through
Forward forecast sales and margin performance frequently, and translate forecast to stock budgets and assortment plans
Work closely on a day to day basis with Category Planning Manager and Category Managers/Buyers in tracking intake, monitoring sales performance and developing action plans
Work closely with Pricing and Merchandising teams to understand and execute pricing and promotional strategies accordingly
Work closely with Category Planning Manager and other planners in developing buying and planning tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
Support Category Managers/Buyers in brand negotiations and growth plans with insights and analysis

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business management, Mathematics or equivalent
1 - 2 years'™ experience in a business / financial analytics (commercial or FP&A) preferred, but open to outstanding fresh graduates willing to learn fast
Advanced understanding of MS Excel
Strong communication and project management skills
High attention to details and proactive
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
Interest in E-commerce and Fashion retail industries
