Marketing Intern (Branding, Marketing & Communications/PR)

REQUIREMENTS: • Creative thinking and the ability to generate new concept and innovative ideas • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and social media tools: Mid to heavy user of FB, IG, TikTok, Twitter. • Willingness to take on unfamiliar tasks in the brand and marketing space • Decent communication and writing skills: Ability to articulate points effectively. • Attention to detail – able to manage multiple tasks with good time management • Awareness of trends and news: Knowledgeable about current events. • Familiarity with basic design skills: Ability to use Canva. JOB SCOPE: 1. External Communications • Provide support in developing external communications materials for various platform – KEC, mailchimp, exact target, social media, website etc. • This include collaborating with different internal stakeholders to draft/edit/review communication materials, design posters, festive greetings, social media captions etc. 2. Marketing Collaterals • Editing/Proofread - Proofread and updating/revising minor changes to marketing collaterals such as brochures, buntings, posters, flyers etc (as and when necessary). • Coordination - Support the coordination of marketing collaterals production which include liaising with vendor, tracking artwork progress/updates, logistics etc. • Design support – Assist in creating simple/basic marketing collaterals i.e brochure, poster etc. (if required).
