Sales Representative

The Role

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals and develop relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify new sales opportunities
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market segments, and emerging trends in the brick and construction industry
• Collect and analyze data on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Assist in creating surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection tools to gather relevant information from target audiences
• Assist in monitoring industry news, publications, and online forums to stay updated on industry developments and competitor strategies
• Support the development of marketing campaigns and promotional materials based on market insights
• Provide administrative support as needed, including organizing data, maintaining databases, and preparing presentations
• Providing regular updates to senior consultants on project status, risks, and opportunities
• Supporting the maintenance of relationships with key client contacts to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or any related field is preferred.
• A Minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials, or related industries.
• Familiarity with bricks and other construction materials is essential to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret large datasets
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing client needs and priorities
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements
