Job Responsibilities
Deep understanding of the applications within Lam system landscape and be able to lead discussions with the internal stakeholders and external partners
Drive organizational excellence and thru rigid process and strive to build best in class enterprise applications team.
Drive discussions on technologies pertaining to Lam application landscape.
Understand the overall applications team strategy and build talent pool that will compliment global Lam team.
Experience and ability to understand and articulate manufacturing business processes.
Good knowledge of the general IT processes and be able to produce key metrics to drive excellence.
Experience in managing escalations brought up by the team both in their respective functional areas (project issues) and covering any personal/team conflict issues as well.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
15+ years of experience delivering information technology services and 3-4 years’ experience in managing high performing global team’s
SAP – Functional – Hands on experience with key SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution, Material Management, Financial Accounting, Controlling, Production Planning etc. Experience with SAPS/4 and MS Dynamics will be highly beneficial.
Organizational – Experience managing global SAP functional teams and ability to work closely with the SAP technical team in strategizing, design and problem resolution. Building a team, which includes recruitment, will be part of the responsibility.
Strategic – Ability to think out of the box when it comes to solutioning key business challenges. Familiarity with utilizing cloud in such situations will be one such example.
Process and governance – Good knowledge of the best practices and tools needed to enforce best in class governance for a global ERP landscape required.
Collaboration and communication – Ability to understand the business processes and collaborate effectively will be very important to establish the credibility of the team and the skills they bring in. Leadership in demonstrating these traits will be very important.
Vendor management – Experience in working with hybrid models which can include both Lam folks and outsource service providers to deliver project requirements.
Preferred Qualification
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders and management required
Ability to articulate ideas clearly with exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills, problem solving and leadership skills
Self-directed with experience in managing priorities and timelines
Knowledge and experience in project management desired

Desired skills:
Good to have experience – SAP S4, Mobility, Data analytics, DEVOPS, Microsoft platform etc.
