Job Description: Office Manager


Company: MR DIY Group Location: George Town, Penang, MY Job Type: Part-time Seniority: Associate Level Years of Experience: 4


Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and oversee daily administrative operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. 2. Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities. 3. Assist in developing and implementing office policies and procedures. 4. Manage office budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions. 5. Track and maintain records of office inventory and assets. 6. Conduct regular inventory audits and reorder supplies as necessary. 7. Support the recruitment process by screening and shortlisting candidates. 8. Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments. 9. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other necessary documents. 10. Assist in the creation of presentations, reports, and other communication materials. 11. Provide general administrative support to all departments as needed. 12. Oversee the maintenance and organization of filing systems, both physical and electronic. 13. Manage and maintain confidential information and documents with utmost discretion. 14. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operation. 15. Resolve office-related operational issues and escalate when necessary. 16. Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. 17. Foster positive relationships with clients, customers, and business partners.


Requirements: 1. Minimum 4 years of experience in office management or related field. 2. Proven ability to work independently and take initiative. 3. Resourceful problem solver with the ability to find creative solutions. 4. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 7. Detail-oriented and highly organized with impeccable time management skills. 8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly. 9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team. 10. Good knowledge of office equipment and procedures. 11. Familiarity with budgeting and financial management. 12. Knowledge of human resources practices and principles. 13. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. 14. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
