Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our organization by ensuring that all invoices are processed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work collaboratively within the accounting department and interact with other departments to maintain effective financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoices and payments.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors, drawing on your attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and other financial documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare financial reports.
• Address vendor inquiries regarding outstanding invoices and payments.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Participate in audits as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
