Commissioning Electrical Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Electrical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of electrical systems and equipment on construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful commissioning and testing of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all electrical commissioning activities and be accountable to the Site SU Manager.
• Record and document equipment run ins.
• Support electrical commissioning sub-contractors.
• Troubleshoot electrical commissioning issues.
• Work with I&C & DCS in the loop verification process.
• Maintain updated Red-Line/As-Built drawings and documentation, ensuring that all modifications documented are tracked through completion both in the field and on all records.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to electrical systems commissioning.
• Proficiency in using commissioning tools and software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
