LOTO Commissioning Lead

We are currently seeking a highly skilled LOTO Commissioning Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) commissioning activities for construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and efficient implementation of LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to the Lock Out /Tag Out procedure.
• Follow the Work Authorization process for all LOTO requests
• Train all required Site personnel required to work on a system under LOTO.
• Maintains a logbook as well as all LOTO documentation created during the entire project note that these are project records and are to be kept in accordance with the Records retention process.
• Works directly with personnel requesting clearances to ensure all work is performed safely.
• Ensure Zero Energy verifications are performed with the correct tools

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in LOTO commissioning or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Lockout-Tagout procedures and regulations.
• Experience in coordinating LOTO activities in construction projects.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Certification in Lockout-Tagout procedures is preferred.
