At this moment, we are looking for a Java Backend Developer, this position is 100% remote and payable in USD.

The Opportunity

Join our innovative team as we embark on an initiative aimed at enhancing our data utilization processes. This project focuses on improving data platforms through seamless integration between data processing and information centers. Our goal is to gain insights into data production, transformation, and usage, ensuring that every step is monitored, optimized, and aligned with business needs. This opportunity is to work with one of our clients. They are one of the biggest Job Boards in the world with presence in over 62 countries.

• Data Flow Management: Track and monitor the production and incorporation of data into information centers, ensuring seamless data lineage throughout the organization.
• Data Utilization Analysis: Identify and evaluate the usage patterns of data, determining its value and necessity. Make informed decisions about data formatting and usage to optimize costs.
• System Design: Design and develop robust backend systems that facilitate efficient data processing and integration. Implement best practices in software design to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and information center managers, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions that improve data management and operational efficiency.

• Java Expertise: Proficient in Java programming with a deep understanding of its ecosystem and best practices.
• Kafka Proficiency: Experience with Kafka from an application perspective, including developing and maintaining Kafka-based solutions.
• Spring Boot Knowledge: Strong background in Spring Boot for building microservices and enterprise-level applications.
• Version Control: Proficient with Gitlab for version control and collaborative development.
• Software Design Skills: Capable of producing well-designed systems, with a strong foundation in software design principles and patterns.
