Product Owner

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our team at Zipdev. This role is with a dynamic company specializing in advanced technology solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across industries. As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, or similar role within a software development environment.
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

Backlog Management:

• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to reflect changing needs and priorities.
• Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and define Definition of Done (DoD).

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to align on expectations and deliverables.

Agile Process Leadership:

• Act as a key player in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.

Product Delivery:

• Oversee the delivery of features, ensuring they meet quality standards and timelines.

• Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
• Vacation: 10 business days a year
• Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year
• Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day)
