Job Description - Customer Succes Engineer

Who are we?

We are Axual, an "event stream processing" scale-up with a mission. Our mission is to unleash the power of information within large organizations in real time. We enable them to respond instantly to the ever-changing needs of their customers. We provide them with real-time data solutions based on Apache Kafka, including the tools and services to easily and securely manage their business data streams. We do this for clients such as Rabobank, Volksbank, the Norwegian Government, Stedin, Julius Bär and Eneco. Curious about the stories of these customers? Read everything here!

What do you tell others you do?

As a Customer Succes Engineer I am dedicated to help clients with their technical and functional challenges to implement and efficiently operate an event driven fast data platform.

What you actually do:

  • You work closely with the customer and understand the requirements
  • You are expert in combining functional and technical challenges
  • You help us to keep various implementations of our platform up and running with high availability and excellent performance
  • You respond to customer notifications about incidents or required changes
  • You work mainly with kubernetes and integrate with a variety of CI/CD tools (for example ArgoCD, FluxCD)
  • You work daily with various software suites that are standardized at the client's side.

What do you bring?

  • Experience with Docker
  • Kubernetes dev and admin certification or the willingness to get it.
  • Development/Scripting experience
  • Experience with MacOS or Linux and Windows environments
  • Well-skilled in English and Dutch, both written and verbally
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
