Database expert (f/m/d)
Your tasks:
- As a database expert for database operations, you will ensure the stable operation of databases in our MS SQL, Oracle, DB2 and Adabas landscapes
- You will independently and proactively derive the right measures from the monitoring data to ensure the availability and performance of the databases at all times
- You analyze requirements from projects and from the operation of our applications with regard to their impact on the databases, develop implementation plans together with your colleagues and put them into practice
- You are responsible for implementing adjustments due to legal changes, IT security requirements of bank-specific specifications, etc.
- You advise projects and application developers on the possibilities and use of the database systems we use
Your profile:
- You already have several years of experience in the administration, operation or use of databases as a database administrator, application developer or person responsible for the operation of databases
- In addition, you have at least basic knowledge of servers, Active Directory, networks and firewalls
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
- You have good comprehension skills and can also communicate complex issues clearly and comprehensibly
