We have an exciting opportunity as SeniorConstruction Scheduling Specialist, located in theNetherlands!
The SeniorConstruction Scheduling Specialist acts as a technical resource forScheduling within the Global Project Methodology (GPM) work processand supports establishment of the overall construction schedulebaseline and reporting to monitor and control the constructionactivities within established tolerances of the baseline supportingefficient project execution. In this role you coordinate datainputs from the various construction contractors and internaldisciplines to ensure accurate forecasts and reporting of scheduleand engage the project steering team to understand causes of thedeviation and the need to establish actions to mitigate, wheredeviations from established tolerances occur. Requires expandedconceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline andbroadens capabilities.

Responsibilities / Duties
• Contributes to improvement of ConstructionSchedule Management Work Process and leveraging of learningexperiences.
• Promotesdiscipline knowledge exchange and quality application throughtechnical coaching.
•Recommendations on cycle time reduction opportunities andtechniques.
• Develops andmaintains comprehensive integrated master project schedulesincluding Detail Design, Procurement, Construction andStart-up/Commissioning Project Stages.
• Utilizes project cost estimates to resource loadproject schedules and gain alignment with estimated scope of workand the project schedule.
•Performs staffing density checks or staffing limitation checks tovalidate schedule durations and ensures resource-leveling supportsthe project strategy.
• Leadsproject teams in forecasting schedule challenges and offersanalyses and solutions to complete the project onschedule.
• Performs criticalpath analysis to determine problem areas in regards to projectschedule and resource overloads and offers alternative courses ofaction to the project team.
•Evaluates project deviations to assess schedule impact for properdecision making and recovery plans.
• Applies established schedule managementpractices to ascertain critical schedule issues and recommendcorrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field(e.g. mechanical, E&I, construction technology) or Minimum of 5years experience in construction scheduling.
• Minimum 5 years experience working for an assetowner (or EPC company) as a constructionscheduler.
• Practicalexperience as a scheduler working for a large main constructioncontractor in coordinating multiple subcontractors (e.g. incoordination of civil, structural steel, piping, insulation andscaffolding etc.
• Assist indeveloping and maintaining comprehensive integrated master projectschedules including Front-end Loading, Detail Design, Procurement,Construction and Start-up/Commissioning ProjectStages.
• Maintainsconstruction schedule during the project life cycle monitoringprogress and incorporating modifications where changes in theoriginal scope occur or delays are encountered.
• Leads project teams in forecasting schedulechallenges and offers analyses and solutions to complete theproject on schedule.
•Evaluates project deviations to assess schedule impact for properdecision making and recovery plans.
• Applies established schedule managementpractices to ascertain critical schedule issues and recommendcorrective actions.
• Assist inquantity tracking and installation rates.
• Performs quantity surveys to validateconstruction progress.
