Team Leader - Air Freight

We are currently seeking a Team Leader for our Air Division in Amsterdam and require an inspirational and coaching style leader to further develop the excellent team dynamic and deliver operational excellence to our customers. This is a pivotal role and one which has a great platform for potential future progression both within the Netherlands or internationally.

As a Team Leader for Air Cargo Export, you will be a key contact person for our customers and make a significant contribution to the business expansion. Positively leading and motivating your team, you will play a major part in building a highly supportive and enthusiastic culture that fully engages staff in the business and their personal development. 

Your main tasks:

Handling of business cases in the area of air cargo export shipments and delivering of shipments 

Providing a great team environment so staff can enjoy their work and give their best to the role

Contact person and solution provider for our customers with transport inquiries

Standard Operating Procedures, offers creation, service provider selection 

Price negotiations with airlines and General Sales Agents 

Cooperation with our partners at national and international level 

Communication with internal cargo-partner contacts at our locations worldwide 

We expect:

Relevant professional and managerial experience in the field of air freight 

Team player with assertiveness 

Structured and independent way of working 

Excellent command of spoken and written English and German
